The Great Place to Work certification is based entirely on how current employees rate their experience working at Protective. This year, 87 percent of teammates surveyed said Protective is a great place to work, which is 30 percentage points higher than the average U.S. company.
Simultaneously, Protective climbed Forbes' 2025 List of America's Best Midsize Employers, ranking No. 168 overall and No. 22 among the Best Insurance Companies in the country. This award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., a global data and industry ranking provider. Employers are selected based on external survey feedback from over 170,000 U.S. employees, not self-nomination. The final score considers factors including workplace culture, employee happiness and engagement levels.
